TESLA has a long tradition in the production of TV and radio transmitters.

Its production processes are in full compliance with EU standards. TESLA’ s current focus is on the development and manufacture of digital transmitters for radio and television broadcasting; eventually these will replace their analogue counterparts. The company manufactures both stationary and mobile transmitters, which can be mounted on buildings or in containers. TESLA produces a full range of accessories. This includes measuring equipment for all types of transmitters (especially measuring demodulators for video and audio signals); combiners; and input devices for TV and FM (AM) transmitters for selecting main, back-up, and regional modulation signals, and their control. We provide a complete service, ranging from the design stage, through construction and power supply, on to the provision of replacement parts and services.


Our transmitters are used in many countries in the world, including in Asia, Africa and South America. More than 1,500 transmitters including antenna systems and technical equipment have been supplied to Russia and countries of the former Soviet Union. Transmitters produced by TESLA, akciová společnost are also in operation in Poland, Germany, Sudan, Egypt, Syria, Morocco, Yemen, Guinea, Nicaragua, Uruguay, Mali, Algeria, Cuba, Estonia and Armenia.
